P.O.W.W.E.R. Pantry

A dinner program that promotes families eating together in a restaurant style setting. Statistics show that children do better in school when they have a sit down dinner with their family at least 3 times a week. They have fewer instances of depression and low-self esteem. These children are least likely to be a victim of teen on teen crime, teen-aged pregnancy and substance abuse.

How do I sign my family up?

To participate in the P.O.W.W.E.R. Pantry Program a family is considered at least one custodial parent and at least one minor child. If your family meets this criteria, you meet the preliminary eligibility requirements. The only other requirements are:

* All minor children in the household, 10 years or older, must be an active participant in at least one of the other 7 programs offered by P.O.W.W.E.R. Ministries Inc. for period of at least one week prior to applying to the P.O.W.W.E.R. Pantry Program.

* Mothers and daughters, 10 years of age and older, must participate in the Mothers and Daughters of Zion Program

* Your Application must be completed and turned in by the 15th of the month to be eligible to participate the following month.
